Our team meets in Aalborg: Key takeaways
In Aalborg, on September 7-8, INBLANC convened its team across Europe to discuss progress on the research and technological developments of the previous months and set the tone for what’s to come. Hosted by Aalborg University, the meeting was a great opportunity to take stock of the team's challenges and successes.
Now, halfway through its three-and-a-half-year lifetime, INBLANC is entering the final months of its development phase. The project team has made significant progress across several fronts: achieving interoperability among its numeracy solutions, collecting data from the pilot sites that are operational and ready to feed our under-development digital tools and services, as well as building the first version of those tools and services. The INBLANC platform, that will host them among various other features, is also functional and available to all INBLANC partners.
Moving forward, the focus will shift from development to integration and testing. Tools, services, solutions and databases will be further developed, integrated and refined for the final validation phase of the project where INBLANC solutions will be deployed and tested across pilot sites in the Netherlands, Cyprus, Spain, Greece, Switzerland and Denmark.
The Aalborg meeting also covered exploitation, dissemination and communication, as well as project management, activities that support the overall effort. It provided a clear picture of how far INBLANC has come and set the priorities for the months ahead. The team plans to meet again in 2027.
