The Project

Buildings generate vast amounts of data, yet much remains scattered and underutilized. To fully capitalise upon this untapped resource, INBLANC will transform building data into actionable insights at every stage of its lifecycle, creating an open ecosystem which receives the benefit of economic value.

From building Design, to Construction, to Operation, to End of Life, data will be collected, processed, and analysed.

Rich building information will be stored in the Digital Building Logbook, a central digital record.

Smart Indicators,
More Informed Decisions

To help understand and improve building efficiency, INBLANC will focus on five key indicators.

INBLANC will analyze and model how these indicators interact, providing a comprehensive view of building performance and identifying areas for improvement.

Energy

Efficiency, consumption, and performance

Human

Health, occupant comfort, and well‑being

Environment

Emissions, materials, and sustainability

Economy

Cost‑effectiveness, value over time and resilience

Resilience

How buildings adapt to unexpected disruptions and stress

Action guided by Data Insights

All this data and analysis will feed into a suite of digital tools and services designed to help key stakeholders take action. These tools will deliver high‑added value services for:

Energy management

Renovation planning

Health & wellbeing

Virtual facility management

Space‑as‑a‑service

Empowering stakeholders with the right information

Building Owners

Service Providers

Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) Professionals

Building Users

Researchers & Academia

Policy Makers & Financial Stakeholders

Each group will be able to access the data, tools, and services they need, when they need them.

The Result

An integrated, data‑driven framework that breaks down silos and transforms fragmented building lifecycle data into meaningful insights.

An ecosystem where data fuels smarter decision‑making and better performing buildings.
