Greener and smarter living in Murcia? Yes, please.
A residential community of over 3,000 in the Joven Futura neighborhood of Spain’s Murcia will become a testbed for validating INBLANC’s solutions that are expected to offer greater energy efficiency, fewer costs, and guidance on renovation plans, among other benefits.
Over the past half-year, our experts have started selecting the Joven Futura apartments that will be involved in the pilot. Their agenda for the next few months includes installing various sensors and smart plugs in the apartments to begin collecting necessary data that will be distilled into insights later on.
Overall, our researchers aim to maximize the energy efficiency and flexibility of the residential sites while offering:
Improved indoor environmental quality with minimal monitoring infrastructure to follow cost-effective approaches;
More informed and data driven decisions on renovation and renewable energy investments;
Maximized long‑term value of resident‑owned properties.
If successful, the Murcia pilot won’t simply show how technology can reduce an energy footprint. It could also shift how property owners or investors think about the long-term value of smarter, greener homes.
